Furthermore, the filter has natural properties that gradually cool and purify the water, ensuring a fresh and smooth taste, ideal for daily use.

Soapstone is a metamorphic rock, which makes it soft and easy to work with in sculptures, crafts, and the production of kitchen utensils such as water filters and pans. Its main characteristics include high tolerance to extreme temperatures (excellent ability to withstand extreme temperatures, from well below zero to approximately 1000 °C), low porosity, impermeability, and resistance to acidic and alkaline substances, providing high versatility and durability.

– Raw material: Steatite (natural rock mineral)
– Steatite releases minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, and manganese, which are important for health.
– Steatite is naturally alkaline, helping to maintain the pH balance of the water. It has low porosity and is practically impermeable, meaning it is not affected by acidic or alkaline substances, and is resistant to stains and mold. It also provides easy maintenance, allowing the user to clean the filter whenever desired, completely independently. Remember that filter cartridges should be replaced every 6 months.

– Utensils made with steatite (filters and water reservoirs, for example) are perfect for preserving liquids, promoting (in conjunction with “Triple Action” sterilizing cartridges) better water filtration.

– Steatite is a naturally alkaline material that helps maintain the pH balance of the water.

The Soapstone water filter is very durable, but we ask that you handle it with extreme care, both during initial assembly and during bimonthly maintenance (when wet, it can slip from your hands and hit something or come loose). We also remind you that the filter’s sterilizing cartridges should be replaced every 6 months (use only original accessories) and that you should discard the first 8 liters of filtered water after changing the cartridges (give it to the plants, for example). This serves to clean the cartridges internally.
