MAINTENANCE:
• Every 2 months, wash the entire filter under running water, as well as the 3 ceramic cartridges (which should be gently rinsed with a soft brush or sponge without soap or other products, under running water to remove excess residue). It is completely normal for the filter cartridges to darken with use.

• To clean the ceramic tanks, simply wash and rinse them thoroughly (inside and out) under running water (room temperature), scrubbing them with your hands, a sponge, or a soft brush to remove accumulated residue (never use soap or other cleaning products and be very careful not to drop them or hit them against other surfaces).

🔸NOTE: DURABILITY: With proper care, water filters generally last for many years, requiring only the replacement of the filter candles (sterilizing cartridges) on average every 6 months. The “Triple Action” ceramic sterilizing candles (certainly one of the best in the world) with activated carbon and colloidal silver offer very high quality in filtering and sterilizing drinking water, being the fundamental component for the water to be filtered correctly and suitable for consumption.
🔸NOTE: When replacing the sterilizing cartridges and/or on first use, using a pitcher or mug, completely fill the upper reservoir (twice) with tap water, and discard the first 16 liters of filtered water from the lower reservoir.
🔸NOTE: This maintenance process should be carried out whenever the cartridges are replaced with new ones; we also suggest keeping the upper reservoir of the filter always full.
🔸NOTE: PRACTICAL SUGGESTION: All filter models sold in our store arrive complete and ready to use, meaning the KIT with candle and accessories is already included. A good idea is to add 1 more candle KIT to your shopping cart, so you have autonomy for 1 year or more.
