At the heart of the São João Classic 8L is an exclusive Triple Action sterilizing ceramic filter cartridge, designed to deliver pure, safe water through gravity filtration. This ceramic water purification system performs three essential functions:
– The porous ceramic filters and retains solids.
– The Activated Carbon reduces odors, flavors, and chlorine content in the water.
– Internally lined with Colloidal Silver nanoparticles, eliminating 99.9% of impurities present in tap water.

FEATURES:
● Upper and lower tanks made of special clay ceramic that provide drinkable, filtered water, capable of cooling it up to 5°C below ambient temperature. Tanks coated with ceramic surface protection against the growth of microorganisms.
● Equipped with a brown Clic faucet that provides greater flow and a long life.
● Equipped with (2) floats that double the filter capacity [8L + 8L] and prevent overflow, ensuring smarter operation.
● Equipped with (2) ceramic sterilizing cartridges [Triple Action], with a microporous wall that retains impurities in the water, with activated carbon that eliminates odors, tastes, and chlorine. Internally lined with colloidal silver nanoparticles, eliminating 99.9% of impurities present in tap water.

IMPORTANT: We recommend a thorough cleaning of the filter every two months. It is simple: just place it in the sink and rinse the top and bottom under running water. Use the soft side of a clean, grease-free sponge to clean the outside and inside of the filter, then rinse thoroughly. Do the same with the filter cartridges (do not scrape the ceramic surface of the cartridges—do not use sugar, salt, baking soda, etc.). Even after washing, it is completely normal for the filter cartridges to darken slightly; this is part of the proper filtration process.
Simply use your hands or the soft side of a sponge to clean (use mild liquid soap only on the plastic parts and rinse very thoroughly).

WE RECOMMEND:
The ceramic filter can last for many years, but we ask that you handle it with extreme care, both during initial assembly and during the bimonthly maintenance (if wet, it can slip out of your hands and hit something or fall). We also remind you that the filter cartridges should be replaced every 6 months (preferably using only original replacements), and it is advisable to discard at least the first 8 liters of filtered water after installing new cartridges (for example, use it to water plants—this serves to flush out the cartridges internally).

🔸NOTE: DURABILITY: With proper care, water filters generally last for many years, requiring only the replacement of the filter candles (sterilizing cartridges) on average every 6 months. The “Triple Action” ceramic sterilizing candles (certainly one of the best in the world) with Activated Carbon and Colloidal Silver offer very high quality in filtering and sterilizing drinking water, being the fundamental component for the water to be correctly filtered and suitable for consumption.
