We suggest that customers replace the filter cartridges on average every 6 months, giving preference to original products.
Below is some useful information so that you can maintain efficient and uninterrupted water filtration.

Water Purification — How does it work?

This system purifies water through three integrated “Triple Action” filtration actions:
— Filters and retains solid particles
— (Dechlorination) – Reduces the amount of chlorine present in the water
— (99.9% disinfection) – Eliminating contaminants and impurities present in the public water supply.

Stefani filters and purifiers have received quality certifications from the most renowned national (ANVISA) and international institutes, demonstrating their proven effectiveness. According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), ceramic gravity water filters for domestic use are considered one of the most effective drinking water purification systems currently available.
We are aligned with NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standards, which currently constitute the sanitary standards for drinking water requirements worldwide.

WATER FILTRATION PROCESS
1ST ACTION: (Filtering) Ceramic cartridge with microporous wall that filters water by gravity, without added chemicals, reducing impurities and retaining solid particles, ensuring healthy water free of solid microelements.
2nd ACTION: (Dichlorination) The cartridge contains Activated Carbon (GAC – Granular Activated Carbon), a plant-based product obtained from coconut shells and used worldwide in water purification systems, as it reduces odors, flavors, and chlorine content in water.
3rd ACTION: (Sterilization) The cartridge is coated internally with Colloidal Silver nanoparticles that penetrate the pores of the cartridge, forming a sterilizing layer capable of eliminating 99.9% of contaminants and impurities present in the public water supply.
Classification A (≥ 0.5 to 1 micron)

IMPORTANT: We recommend thoroughly washing the filter every two months. It is simple: just place it in the sink and rinse the top and bottom with tap water. Use the soft side of a clean, grease-free sponge to clean both the outside and inside of the filter, then rinse thoroughly. Do the same for the filter cartridges (do not scrape the ceramic of the cartridges—do not use sugar, salt, baking soda, etc.); even after washing, it is perfectly normal for the filter cartridges to darken slightly—this is part of the proper filtration process. Simply use your hands or the soft side of a sponge to clean (do not use soap or other cleaning products on the filter).

🔸NOTE: DURABILITY: With proper care, water filters generally last for many years, requiring only the replacement of the filter candles (sterilizing cartridges) on average every 6 months. The “Triple Action” ceramic sterilizing candles (certainly one of the best in the world) with activated carbon and colloidal silver offer very high quality in filtering and sterilizing drinking water, being the fundamental component for the water to be correctly filtered and suitable for consumption.
